I've tried many different scourers with varying results. They seem to work best, at least in cases where the fat hasn't been baked for years. The only problem I had was getting into those tiny corners around the area where the handles screw into the pot. I hope the combination of baking soda for those tiny areas and that metal keeps my pans in good shape forever! I believe they scratch glass and other soft surfaces.
