Good desk, but wrong dimensions in the advertisement

I needed a desk with some storage space for my home office. I figured the built in shelves on this table would do the trick. In general, I am very satisfied with the results. However, the dimensions in the listing are far from the norm. The desktop is actually 47.25 inches wide, with 11.75 inches on the shelf and 37.8 inches on the main desk, about an inch wider than advertised. The shelf section is 35.5 inches deep, which is 3 inches deeper than the listing diagram. The main section is 23.625 inches deep, or 4 inches deeper than advertised. The bottom shelves are 9.8 inches deep. The table height is 29 inches plus the height of the legs. The metal legs are sturdy and the whole table looks like a good solid piece of furniture. The faux wood countertop has a beautiful appearance that doesn't look too cheap or fake. The top has enough space for my monitor, keyboard, mouse pad and laptop and there is still room left. As far as assembly goes, the instructions were just schematics. In one case, I realized that after just four steps, the character had to face a certain direction. I got over it but it was a bit frustrating. Some Helpful Hints: How you attach part 11 will determine whether the shelves will be on the right or left when you are seated. You can still do it. The bottom shelves fit very tightly so wait until the legs and bars are fully tightened for the shelves to be in place. Before attaching the top, make sure the holes on part 4 (legs) are facing backwards. You'll need these to add the large crossbars. Given the quality, looks, practicality, and durability, the nearly $200 price tag isn't that bad, but I'd watch a sale. $150 would probably be my sweet spot.
