My Instant Pot arrived on Saturday - the first pressure cooker I've had. After learning the sous vide method, I became more interested in it than pressure cooking! I followed the instructions in the email to familiarize myself with the device and did a first test run. Everything seemed to work according to the instructions. I decided to make my first real sous vide challenge with a small piece of beef tenderloin. Again following the instructions in the letter I got to the water heating but after several hours and repeated attempts the appliance still didn't signal the start of cooking - so the meat never got into the pan! I've tried everything - using colder water, checking the water temp, factory reset, unplugging the unit for a while and starting again, all to no avail. Tomorrow I will contact support and update my review. But right now I'm not sure if I want anything to do with this product.
