I wanted something that would allow me to listen to my HT without throwing it off the shelf if I caught the headphone cord while reaching for a cup of coffee. It meets that requirement, BUT. it is too slow to react. I lose the first few syllables when someone presses the keys. This makes it difficult to determine the call sign of the person sending the call. Also, the headset is very bulky and difficult to wear when I wear glasses. Finally, people say they can barely hear me with the headset. I have to put my hand on the mouthpiece and speak loudly to be heard.
