Overall this unit works fairly well but the sound levels on mine were much higher than my other sound level meters. Although the manual says not to change the adjustment screw, I've found that turning it aligns the level better with other sound meters I've used, although even at a wide setting it's still a few dB higher than it should be . .Plus, it works great and is great value for money.
