Years ago my sister had to have surgery for tendonitis in her wrist which left her with limited grip. She loves to cook and uses olive oil in many of her dishes, but it is often physically impossible for her to hold a slippery, heavy glass bottle of olive oil with one hand and stir it with the other (and can be dangerous if dropped) . ) She once saw a bottle of Rachel Ray Stoneware EVOO Oil Dispensing while watching one of Rachel's cooking shows, but didn't want to buy a bottle at the time because the price was too high. I recently spotted the same bottle (brand new) on Revain.com in a huge range of colors for a surprisingly low price, so I bought her one for Christmas. She knows she will get it because I wanted to make sure it was the color she wanted and she was thrilled with the gift! I asked her to pick it up and hold it when it arrived and the results couldn't have been better. Exactly what she needed! It's hard to tell from the picture but this bottle is made from lightweight porcelain stoneware and has a beautiful lustrous glaze inside and out to keep the oil fresh and the stoneware clean and free of contaminants. The spout can be removed and hand washed, and the bottle itself can be placed in the dishwasher for easy cleaning when needed. It's also easy to clean with a few drops of dish soap, hot water and a good bottle brush. Good product, well finished, highly recommended.
