Completely made of plastic. I bought it to check the oven temperature. Is working. Just point to the item you're checking and pull the trigger. Of course, don't look into the light and don't look anyone in the eye. I found that helpful. I always update my reviews when new information seems useful.

- Adjustable emissivity: Digital temperature gun measuring range from -58 Β°F to 1022 Β°F (-50 Β°C to 550 Β°C). According to the temperature reflectivity of different products, adjust the emissivity from 0.10 to 1.00, which makes the reading more accurate.
