Review on A4 Ultra-Thin Portable LED Light Box Tracer: Perfect Tool for Artists and Tracing Artwork by Jennifer Roberts

This is a great LED lighting pad - it's so light and thin it can't even be called a box - it's very comfortable to hold and carry around . I bought it to use for cel animation and attached an animation bar to it to take standard 8 ½ x 11, 10F (10 frames) animation paper which is very good with some margins on the top, bottom and sides fits. This is great because I have both acme and round pens so I can use any type of paper and it's so light it's easy to flip it over if needed. It also works well as a simple tracking surface. It has a long (nearly 7ft) power cord that is lightweight, flexible, and well-made that connects securely and discreetly to the tracking pad and any USB power source. I've used it with laptops and desktops, a standard USB outlet, and a portable rechargeable power bank. When plugged in, the two soft blue LEDs on the side of the pad will glow to show it's on, which is a thoughtful touch. I don't usually like the bright LEDs the electronics have, but they're not overly bright and very well placed - you don't see them directly when working on the top, only when looking from the side or the back. The main surface LEDs produce a bright, neutral light that is evenly distributed over the entire surface with a thin diffuser layer below the painting surface. The surface itself, while very light, is remarkably smooth - it really feels like safety glass without the weight and is a pleasure to draw on. A touch button in one corner controls the brightness of the LED and is flush with the top. You touch or touch it to turn the light on or off and cycle through three levels of brightness. The brightest level is quite bright - you can trace through heavy art paper, and I've even used the surface as a soft close-up light for macro photography with my phone and DSLR. The darkest light level is bright enough for drawing or drawing from one sheet of opaque animation paper to another, or for multiple layers of onion skins/tracing paper. It's soothing and I've been drawing comfortably for hours. The medium brightness setting is halfway between these two. The lighted sign area measures 9" x 12" with a 1 1/2" wide opaque black stripe running down the side that can be used to hold the plate. This strip features a touch panel to toggle the brightness on and off, easy for you to access while drawing works again Pillow was packaged very well wrapped in a soft foam bag with four foam corners holding it to the surface of a very strong reusable box The packaging is so durable and convenient that I used it for storage and carrying the pillow use With a notepad and cord, 100 sheets of animation paper will fit, a couple of pencils and an eraser is great its well made because it was one of the cheapest but the construction of this lightweight mat is rock solid and the design is simple great.I'm very glad I bought it from Ticktech - they have one of the lowest price se for this tracing paper and your support is amazing - very kind and caring. To my great surprise, after I received the pillow and already thought it was a great purchase, without my contact with them, they checked that everything is ok and extended the warranty for free. This was one of the best purchases I have ever made and the whole experience was great from start to finish. (By the way, this review is only motivated by the fact that I really like this copy board - I'm a genuine buyer of this and paid full price for it.)
