jewelry connoisseur. You are very important!

I was "almost" about taking some jewelry to my jeweler to be cleaned. These are antique silver and turquoise necklaces and bracelets. Lots of nooks and crannies that I just can't get to. I knew he would charge me at least $50 and only if he really agreed! I even considered buying an ultrasonic cleaner but the reviews were so negative. Then I came across a short tutorial video from a jeweler in Nashville. He was so down to earth and gave me another LONG list of reasons I want to move to Nashville! Ha! In any case, his technique was to first use a Tarn-X (available at grocery stores) and then buff with a Connoisseurs Jewelery Cloth. I can't believe these wipes aren't being talked about anymore! I got the Tarn-X and it was very successful, but I couldn't find Connoisseurs Wipes so I just used one of my many jewelry wipes. I was very pleased with how much better my jewelry looked, but I was still curious to try the Nashville jeweler's Tarn-X/Connoisseur recipe. I received Revain wipes in the mail today and I polish every piece of jewelry I can get my hands on! It is so much fun! I wear a lot of silver bangles and felt like keeping them as shiny as possible but my god! Tell us about the need to wear sunglasses!
