Review on πŸ–‹οΈ Pentel Arts Tradio Calligraphy Pen - Black Barrel, Water-Based Ink, 1.4mm - TRC114ABP: High-precision Writing Instrument for Elegant Calligraphy by Shauna Kennedy

There are no instructions but a good light pen.

I've always wanted to play with a calligraphy pen, this is my first time. The pen came with a cartridge. Being a beginner I didn't quite understand how to find the right mine just said the international standard which gave mixed results. Took me about 30 minutes to find the right one. Based on the numerous reviews, I decided on 25 pieces. International size Jinhao Pen ink cartridge, suitable for fountain pens, is black and costs US$4.98. I can't wait to take the time to really practice with this pen! It feels light, I think I was expecting a heavier grip. It was easy to load the cartridge and just get used to the pressure and angle. There was no instruction manual for the pen so I had to buy a book. The ink on the 20's paper was slightly visible on the reverse side, so I'm not sure which paper to use.

Pros
  • Each pen comes with a black ink cartridge and can be refilled with any international standard cartridge.
Cons
  • New competitors are here
