The perfect intro for kids and moms!
I love art but never practiced at home when I was a kid. When I ordered this book I had little to no idea what she had written (including basic skills) and all the specific advice on what to buy and how to use the different techniques was a life saver. My almost 3 year old son and I worked on our own elephant project all summer and had a lot of fun. I asked him to make a collage paper base and we drew and cut the paper together. We made this easy on the back of a box thanks to the gesso. We're still a long way from being professional, but we love what we've been able to achieve with this book!
