Review on Tripp Lite 24-Port 1U Rackmount Cat5e Patch Panel - Black, RJ45 Ethernet 568B (N052-024) by Clint Mcloven

This was just what I needed to clear the area where my network cable connects to my router. The panel is good quality and was easy to install (I have been in telecom/structured cabling for 15 years so had little experience installing patch panels). I installed the cage and snapped the panel into place so the patches side was facing in. The markings were clear and easy to figure out how to arrange wire pairs to get 568A or 568B connectors (I chose 568B but either will work). if it is the same at both ends of the cable). Then just loosen the bezel, flip it over and snap it back into the cage. I used a label printer to label my ports. Then just connect to your router with 3" short patch cords and you're done. The front panel is metal, the instructions are clear and understandable, even for a person who has no experience in connecting cables. I recommend this patch panel!
