I am a state-certified beautician, I really like this sugar! Some tips: 1. Use nitrile gloves to prevent sugar from sticking to your gloves (so harsh)2. Heat the sugar in 5 second intervals, it should be a little set to start with. 3. Remember to use an antiseptic and then baby powder or cornstarch to absorb any remaining moisture before beginning in the direction of hair growth 5. SLOWER! Sugar should "melt" on the hair. Walk over each area 3 times before drawing 6. The sugar will likely melt too much to continue steeping after a while. Place a warm, damp towel over the area to remove. apply antiseptic and powder again, take a new ball and keep going! 7. To minimize post-stretching pain, "calm down" by placing a gloved hand on the area for 5 seconds immediately after the stretch.8. If there are a few stubborn hairs, you can continue treating the area until the skin is red and tender. Tweezers are your friend!9. When you're done, use a warm, damp towel to wipe away sugar residue, then apply antiseptics and aloe vera to soothe your skin10. Exfoliate 24-48 hours AFTER sugaring. This helps prevent ingrown hairs
