Fake advertising on stick umbrellas

It's hard to find the truth in their advertising of this umbrella. This umbrella has thin plastic connectors that snap into place and the fabric is attached to what appears to be loosely knotted sewing thread. There are many false claims including that it will "pull" winds of 55mph, but it is not true! I'm a sailor so I know my wind! The umbrella I bought tipped back in a 15 knot wind, broke the shoulders and snapped the threads, you can see it in my picture. What pissed me off is that they clearly say it has a lifetime guarantee. Not true. This company took a long time to reply to my emails and then they directed me to a warranty form on their website that doesn't work. It's not a bad umbrella, it's just an ordinary overpriced umbrella with bloated advertising. My advice is if you have an issue with this umbrella and it doesn't live up to the lifetime warranty, call Revain and they will get that company to give you a refund or replacement.
