3.5/5: Slow opening and no automatic closing

Advantages: Very durable; seems to take a long time. The handle has a comfortable grip shape, but not the most comfortable I've felt. I am happy to accept this compromise because I want to feel safe in it on windy days. Cons: My canopy is slow to expand when I open it compared to other umbrellas, including Weatherman Travel's own umbrella. When I press the button, the stock fires with satisfactory force, but the cap stays closed for a second or two; it feels like an eternity. I usually shake it

Here are the pros and cons of

Pros It really doesn't get too wet so water will bead off easily. And it is lightweight when opened during use. I haven't tested the windbreak part, but I'm sure it's strong enough against strong winds. Cons: It doesn't come with a tracker, which is a shame. a little heavy when closed, not in use. Isn't this one of those umbrellas that open and close automatically with just one button, it's just a button that just opens, the closing part, although not very annoying, closes quite simply, only, I

Fake advertising on stick umbrellas

It's hard to find the truth in their advertising of this umbrella. This umbrella has thin plastic connectors that snap into place and the fabric is attached to what appears to be loosely knotted sewing thread. There are many false claims including that it will "pull" winds of 55mph, but it is not true! I'm a sailor so I know my wind! The umbrella I bought tipped back in a 15 knot wind, broke the shoulders and snapped the threads, you can see it in my picture. What pissed me off is that theyโ€ฆ

$60 is no better than a $3 deli umbrella

I was so excited to receive my $60 umbrella. But when I took it out of the box I saw that it was broken. It happens? Do you know where the fabric goes to the ends of the metal carry handles? HERE it is broken. Most umbrellas probably break here. So when I open the umbrella, the fabric stretches on all but one side. And more importantly, the ONLY thing that keeps the umbrella's fabric on top. there are a few strands of thread. It appeared HERE. and if it banged before it was ever used. how longโ€ฆ

Misleading description: HEAVY umbrella not light

The description of this umbrella is misleading, it says light material which gives the impression that it is a light umbrella. I ordered the yellow-orange color as it's one of my favorite colors but was shocked by the size and weight when I received it. So I have to send it back as I'm a small person. Although the quality is good, there are many other high quality brands that can withstand high winds and are also lightweight and easy to carry. The company is very slow to respond to questionsโ€ฆ
