You can literally charge your phone with this radio even if it doesn't have batteries! It's light, which is its advantage. The build doesn't feel overly tight and the parts are a little chunky, but this isn't a fancy outfit, it's meant for car camping or emergencies, so the weight savings seems like a good compromise.
