Review on 🎧 PAC SNI-1/3.5 Ground Loop Noise Isolator: Compatible with iPod, Zune, iRiver and More - Black by Craig Pears

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Really surprised it helped a bit. Wish it came in a nicer case

Update: downgraded to 3.5/5 stars. After using it a bit more and playing another game. The hum/noise still seems to be there. It's not that bad, but I MUST use balanced output cables. When using unbalanced (RCA) cables for my monitors, I still get hiss/hum at near maximum volume. As I said, it's not that bad if I use this ground loop isolator. I was hoping this would completely eliminate the hum when using RCA cables as inputs and outputs, but it doesn't. This product helps eliminate or reduce hum when using RCA/unbalanced cables, but does not eliminate it. 100%. Again, I will continue to use it as it almost completely eliminates hum when using BALANCED cables for my monitors. I just wish it was the same with RCA cables. My initial review is below: Too bad it came in a nicer case but maybe that's not possible with the components inside. Also pack shadow af. but I already knew that. For some reason when my 1070ti is overclocked and the fans start running. I get an insane amount of noise/hum from my JBL305 monitors. Reading it, it looks like it's either the motherboard, the PSU (most likely), or something else. Either way. found out that you can buy ground loop isolators. I wanted to get mad but then I read a review that led me to crypto, then I read about it and decided to go with it. The hum problem only occurs when I use unbalanced cables with my AG03, e.g. B. 3.5mm or RCA cable. I don't hear any hum when using XLR or balanced 1/4 cables. I wanted to use RCA for something but when I did there was a buzz. This product fixes the problem. Use with JBL lsr305, nobsound ns-05p and my computer. I haven't run any specific tests, but everything looks fine so far. And honestly I'm sure any other ground loop isolator will work just fine. Most reviews seem to be good. It definitely has the most questionable packaging. I think my only concern is that the cables coming out of the little plastic box aren't very secure. I might hot glue them (if it's safe) to make them more secure. But the last. Now I'm wondering if just getting Anchor or Mpow would be ok. Save $5
