They're good little workhorses for microcontroller projects
These are good little workhorses for microcontroller projects. They have lots of GPIO pins, Wi-Fi connectivity and can do everything a standard ESP-8266 12E can. I love that they come with different types of mounting pins for versatile mounting options. I also like that they cost less per unit than the ESP-8266.
