I bought this little horn to help me train two rescue dogs I just got. I had to teach my two new dogs to go through the dog door to the backyard. Training was going terribly until I heard that call. My dogs just went to the lowest level and didn't use the dog door. I couldn't catch it to fix her until I got this chime. It would notify me when they went down so I could follow them and direct them to the right spot. It was the perfect training device for me and I would buy it again if the need arose. Now that my dogs are trained I plan to give this to my dad who is taking care of my mum with Alzheimer's and he can use it to notify him when she gets up in the evening.
