This laptop did the job, which was that I needed a Windows laptop to play around with the Kinect SDK. But the trackpad is the *worst* trackpad I've ever used. Basically, they were trying to mimic the trackpad on a multi-touch Macbook, where the trackpad buttons are part of the surface being tracked. But they don't seem to offer software support for this type of trackpad. * No (or broken) thumb waiver. Sometimes a simple thumb press moves the mouse pointer and I click the wrong one. I can't put my thumb on the button because the button is part of the trackpad, so I accidentally trigger two-finger scrolling or can't move the mouse at times. two fingers. You must completely remove your hand to put it back into tracking mode.* Not located in the center of the laptop case. I accidentally click the right mouse button a lot. *Disabling right-click does not cause a click on the right side of the trackpad to be interpreted as a left-click, just nothing happens. Expect to always use the mouse.
