Great (but not heavy)

My dog is an 80 lb German Shepherd/American Akita mix. Based on the size chart on the product page, my dog fits all 2XL sizes except the back is a few inches shorter. I chose 2XL and in fact the back was too short and my dog was very unhappy to wear it. I changed it to a 3XL and although it's a little loose in a few spots the length is just right and my dog is much happier. Unfortunately the camouflage print is not made in 3XL so I had to go for grey, but it still looks good :) Pros: - Drawstrings at neck and chest: they help to fit better, I really like this feature. .- Doesn't hang around the legs like other dog costumes - the material is soft and stretchy - the zipper closes very well. I like the functionality of using a zipper for this suit as opposed to a sweater or velcro or whatever. - a snippet below to make it easier: This is useful for obvious reasons, although the placement isn't exactly where it should be, but hopefully we can tweak it to get it right. Cons: - Definitely not for heavy use or outdoor use. It's probably mostly made for indoors or in a car, which is what I bought it for. When it comes to keeping the dog from snapping the strings I'm pretty sure a determined dog can pull it off - Fit is still a little awkward in places but nothing to interfere with his movement too much or would look awfully bad. He probably wouldn't want to walk in it. What I don't know: - Durability - Easy Care: I'm assuming it's a material (I'd probably wash it on a delicate cycle) but I haven't really tried it yet and I don't know how the laces feel behave when washing. They probably need to be fed beforehand.
