This product works great. I have a receiver in a room that has speakers and a transmitter, like a stereo receiver, in another room. The cable length is the main reason I chose this IR receiver. There are two stickers - one for attaching the receiver and one for attaching the transmitter to your stereo (or any other device you access with an IR remote). Works reliably. Naturally. The main issue with this product is that the USB connector that powers the cable is connected via a Y-adapter about a foot from the emitter. The connection point cannot be adjusted, so your USB power supply must be very close to your emitter. Alternatively, you will need to purchase a USB extension cable. In my case, my stereo is connected to (and sits on) a rack system surge processor that has USB jacks. That makes it convenient. However, if you don't have an active USB socket nearby, the short cable length (from the branch) will be an issue. Pay attention to the specified numbers and distances. Other than that, the receiver-emitter works like a charm.
