Worked well for 2 months, then died

The device did what it was supposed to. It took some getting used to, but it worked. It eats up the batteries fairly quickly, less so if you turn off the sound and backlight, but the medicine consists of just a few spares. My complaint is that after 2 months he died. The instructions also said it was sensitive to cold, but why list it as an ice fishing feature when you can use it in the cold?
