Although they are labeled as replacements for my nv501 they are smaller than the original filters. The taller foam filter is comparable in height to the original, which filled the entire lower bowl from rim to rim, but was narrower or thinner. This leaves about 1/4 inch play around the perimeter. The thin lower foam filter is slightly thinner (shown on the left and less than half the height of the original filter shown on the right), which I don't think will be as effective as the filter at filtering fine particles. Original. The material of the replacement bottom filter also differs from the material of the original filter. I'll try them, but they don't match the real size filters, so I'm not sure if they're as effective at filtering as the real thing.
