Sandblaster to use with my 30 gallon air compressor at 90psi. Wednesday was BLACK BEAUTY Abrasive Blast Media Extra Fine Abrasive 30/60 Mesh Size. To clean these tongs I probably use about 3 ounces of material. The air blaster worked well. You must provide your own connector or connect directly to the air hose, which is the recommended connection method. Be sure to read the instructions, they are very detailed. The sandblaster cleaned the pliers very well. Removed all the rust and got some pretty tight spots. Spray the pliers with dry lubricant after cleaning to prevent future rusting. Wearing protective goggles is essential when sandblasting. Abrasives go everywhere, including in your eyes, if you don't protect them. I used outdoors and used a leaf blower to clean up the mess. This is not a toy, be careful. Recommended for DIY enthusiasts.
