It replaced a 2015 Aleko they can no longer support parts for. The Dk1000 mounted perfectly where the old one was. I like the steel pinion gear, and the new clutch design. I also bought a replacement control board just in case, installed and tested it. Hopefully I’ll never need it. I was already familiar with the product from owning a couple almost identical units of the other brand. Seems all the parts are interchangeable. I will recommend this brand to everyone. I haven’t needed to call customer service, however I think Topens techs are more familiar with the product compared to Aleko. Aleko gave me bad advice almost every time. They are not familiar with their products, maybe the chicken coops?
