Background: Frustrated that Apple didn't come up with a sleek briefcase, I chose the Apple Smart Keyboard, which had an advantage over other options. As a big fan of clear bumper cases, I bought these for my iPad Pro 12.9 3rd Gen. Practicality: Installation is very simple; as well as uninstallation. So you can slip this case on and off without fear of it slipping in or out, losing grip, or damaging parts from too much pressure or crazy tearing. And one day it offers protection that's worth its price: mostly from bumps and bumps, but probably not from drops (not that I'm going to test that theory on my iPad). ;-) Thanks to the transparent housing, I can also display everything. Bonus: It keeps the keyboard and iPad together, avoiding accidental separation when lifting (in the laptop configuration). Pros: It prevents the Apple Pencil from flying out but still leaves the stylus easily accessible. Cons: The corners don't protrude to create an air-cushioned bumper - a better design than just a fitted body. Just like now, you get protection from knocks and bumps (e.g. in your backpack), but no obvious benefit in the event of a fall. Update: If the company adds the corners of the hover bumper and maybe a strategically placed opening to allow for magnetic locks (when the keyboard is flipped back), I'd update those. any personal decor, like decals, artwork, whatever you have; If this product covered both the top of the keyboard (which it does) and the bottom of the keyboard (which it doesn't) I would go for it, especially if it had at least one side (keyboard end). in leather/suede. feel/see done. Feel free to work with this idea: I have no idea how to start producing something for sale or if it's viable for an indie as a one off product in a crowded market. Meanwhile, I'm really glad I got the latest clean Halo. Case available (at time of review at AMZN). I would highly recommend this for peace of mind.
