Review on YONGNUO YN585EX Wireless Speedlite Function by Mike Walters

I bought this flash for my Pentax K50. It worked right out of the box and delivers great results for the aspiring amateur photographer. Being able to use my K50 flash makes this device incredibly valuable to me as I can use the flash off camera in P-TTL or manual mode. I've completed the setup procedures without asking others for help and I'm still figuring out all the settings. As long as I like it Little experience with photographic equipment combined with the Chinese use of English in the supplied manual made it difficult for me to follow Yongnuo's instructions. Reading the manual carefully and taking your time helped. The most difficult aspect of preparing the flash for use with my camera was understanding the wireless communication systems between the camera and the flash. I'm very happy with the results and the potential of the breakout.
