OMG! This little device is amazing. My father recorded birthdays and Thanksgiving dinners on wire tape in 1954 and transferred those recordings to cassette tape in the early 1970s. Now I can transfer those tapes to CD with this machine and give the remaining relatives the copies that were on those early recordings. My sister who was 4 then is 67 now, my mother and grandmother who are long gone but whose voices I recognize it's actually a bit creepy to hear now. However, I'm glad I bought this instead of the component I was considering at over a hundred bucks. Thanks very much!
