First of all this light is SUPER bright even on the lowest setting I have no idea how people can complain that this light is not bright. It projects a large beam in both height and width. Just used a paved bike path in total darkness for the first time and could see clearly 25 meters in front of me. I've had another bike light for a few years that costs 3x the price but is nowhere near as bright as this one. The light was very easy to install and the bracket was strong and durable. The rear flashing light can be easily installed with a flexible rubber band and is very bright with numerous flashing options. The main light has a colored light at the top to let you know about the battery. Green when fully charged, blue and finally red when it needs charging. It's easy to detach and charge with a standard cable, like the ones I use to charge my Kindle, charge blocks, etc. The instructions are in broken English but clear, and setting up and using it is self-explanatory anyway. The only problem was finding the charging cable which was nicely and securely concealed by a rubber boot. This lightweight combination costs three times what it is sold for. An excellent product compared to those sold at a much higher price. Update 7/21/20 I really liked this flashlight I bought last fall so I didn't use it much until this spring. So I would say about 4-5 months with infrequent use. A fee is no longer charged. Went from the store quite well to suddenly just nothing. A bit disappointed because I really liked this lamp. I reduced my stars from 5 to 3 assuming I just received a defective one.
