Review on 💾 Emtec 500GB USB 3.0 Wi-Fi Portable HDD - Reliable Wireless Storage on the Go by Geoff Yates

As a portable hard drive it works great but that's about it. The instructions are terrible and give no idea how to set it up. When trying to access Wi-Fi for the first time, this is the default password (EMCTEC4567). It's not listed in the included instructions and I had to go and find it. It doesn't work well for music playback, there's no way to shuffle songs or create a playlist, you have to tap each song individually. When I tried to download a movie from this product to my phone, I could only get sound and no picture. You also don't have an option to order the songs or videos, it's alphabetical order by default so all my series and movies were jumbled up. I bought this product to transfer my entire music/movie/tv library from iTunes. This product cannot play iTunes files, whether it is a movie or a TV show. So I can't play 99% of my content. If you're purely looking to transfer files, I think it works, but if you're looking to expand the music and video content on your phone or laptop, it's pretty much useless, and you might as well give up and buy a chord. I will return this product
