I saw this as a quick and reliable way to reduce throttle power on a 2019 Yamaha R3. The stock throttle tube has a small cam profile that is comfortable for beginners. However, it requires a long press on the gas pedal and makes driving with it a bit uncomfortable. Switching to an R6 throttle tube reduces thrust significantly, and you'll notice it as soon as you install it. This part is a factory OEM part so you can be assured that it is reliable as it comes standard on the Yamaha R6. It doesn’t quite have an aftermarket adjustable throttle tube, but given its price point, it’s a great option. I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to owners of R3 and MT-03 or compatible systems.
