Everyone recommends buying cards with a Texas Instruments chipset. This is one of them. Installed on my PC in minutes. Booted up and was immediately recognized in Windows 10. No additional driver installations were required. I used a Sony i.Link cable (VMC-IL4615) and tested the connection to each of my old camcorders (Sony DCR-TRV310 and Canon ZR500). I opened the Windows Photo Gallery software application and it recognized both cameras and I could see what was being videotaped as well as live view through the camera lens. Since then I have converted many hours of DV tapes to digital AVI files on my hard drive. I'm so excited that it was so easy and smooth. Highly recommended!
