I used a spiral coil to repair the threads on my caliper where the banjo bolt connects to attach the hose to the caliper. (A banjo bolt is a bolt with a hole that allows brake fluid to flow from the brake line hose to the caliper.) I had my doubts that this would work, but it worked! This $20 repair kit saved me over $200! I would 10/10 recommend this product to those of you with mechanical skills. The how-to YouTube videos were very helpful in understanding the process when you're not sure if you can follow the somewhat limited instructions that come with the set. No more leaks and I am happy with the product.
