The kitchen cabinet had a pull out trash door that expanded a lot when left open and stepped on multiple times. (No excuses, not proud of it, but just something about that door! We ALL hit it multiple times. It happened so many times it became a thing – ha! got caught again, huh?!?) At first we could just tighten the screw, then when that didn't work anymore we used a longer/thicker screw until it finally wouldn't tighten. Filled with putty on wood, didn't work for long. Five years and a few snapbacks later I went online out of sheer desperation for the best solution - found this one and thought I heard angels singing - this product is awesome! Plugged it in, removed the door, cut off a few thin strips, stuck it in the hole, screwed the door back on, and it was as secure as new again! Happy ending - we don't expect any further problems as we are selling and moving! (Bonus for me - I impressed my husband with the renovation!)
