Review on Caulking πŸ”§ Finisher Reusable Stainless Silicone by Elmito Yeager

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Suitable for some applications

There seem to be a lot of these compaction tool kits on the market today. My guess is that they are trying to take some of the art out of coinage to make it more scientific. It has quite a few parts, many of which I will probably never use, such as: B. Stainless steel nozzles, so this set is a bit overkill for me. One thing I found very useful about this kit is the metal scraper. I used it to patch the gap between the bathroom and the vinyl floor. One swipe with the scraper and most of the old sealant in the joint came loose with a long string, which is much more effective than the old straight scraper method I used. This fits pretty much into the angle of the joint. To remove the sealant residue I used the included plastic scrapers to avoid scratching the tub or floor. After the sealer was removed and cleaned, I began the latex sealing process using a white soft silicone nozzle on the opposite side. the end of the scraper and it smoothed out the fresh seal. The blue hard plastic smoother worked a little better for getting a clean seam, but I found my old tried and true method of using my index finger smoothed out the final seam a bit. Tools 5 stars, smoothers 4 stars and metal attachments are superfluous. Also included are several brushes, the largest of which came in handy for cleaning tools. The set comes in a nice plastic case to keep everything together. I have only tried latex sealed tools and 100% silicone seal is very different from latex in terms of both application and cleaning, so I cannot comment on the use of silicone seal.
