I bought these to use with a cast iron skillet that I use as a fries bowl in my smoker. It's quick enough to pull the pot out and set it on a couple of rocks next to the smoker to recharge the chips. One star deducted as I could feel the heat through the gloves when I did it (smoker never goes above 250F) while for what I use it's ok because I doubt you'll need them for real welding will. Ideal for moving hot items FAST.
