This queen size waterbed mattress is great for us with just one problem. tiny. The wings of the round cover broke off when I tried to open the valve to fill the mattress with water. Once the valve is pushed back into the mattress, it becomes dark to withdraw the wingless cap. Is there a way to get a new round cap with new wings? I have had other waterbed mattresses and never had this cap issue. It struck me as odd that these wings came off so easily because I wasn't that strong to begin with. Overall, the design of this product is perfect. It's a heavier weight than I've had in the past. I am aware that the mattress is guaranteed for the next 20 years, although I know where I have this in writing. I would also appreciate a warranty statement. I wrote this above in 2019 but only recently realized that I clicked the submit button. Now May 30, 2020. I feel like I need to EDIT my review. I downgraded my rating from 4.5 to 2. Filling and then emptying a waterbed is a huge process. I would really like to find a solution to the smell so I can sleep in my own bed. The smell gives me a headache, so I've been sleeping on the couch for five months. If I put an article of clothing or other item on the bed, even for a short time, it will absorb the odor from the mattress and will need to be washed with an anti-odor product. In fact, my entire bedroom now smells like a mattress. I have a fan and an extra air filter running in this room. That is not right! WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH THE SMELL? I have now made a decision.
