This opener works very well, but I would like to buy a model without a magnet. I couldn't tell from the photos, but the magnet is set so low that it barely touches the top of the glass. This means that with some clamshell cans the magnet is stuck on the pull ring and does not open the can. If you never use a can opener on flip top cans you won't mind, but I guess a magnet is pretty much useless anyway. Of course this doesn't work at all on aluminum, but even on tin cans the magnet isn't always strong enough to lift the lid. If you really need help removing the lid after using the opener, I would recommend using mini pliers instead of a magnet.
