very robust design. solidly made for heavy towing. I use it as an adapter for my Smittybilt front bumper that has built in D-lugs for use with a Roadmaster hitch. Fits perfectly! Tip: Measure the size of the hole in the bumper D-ring tab and make sure it is the diameter you need for this adapter. Warrior makes 2 sizes. It's a 7/8 and fits perfectly on my boss which is a 1" diameter hole for a 3 foot 4" D ring. The mounting end uses a 1/2" bolt with a locknut to connect to the hitch. Fits Roadmaster hitches with the connecting link already fitted. Very strong, but I'll replace it with a class 8 bolt in a few weeks when I have time. Update: 2500 miles, towing my jeep 4 dr unlimited (500 lbs) with no problems or signs of wear. 06/19/19 15,000 mile update. Jeep 5000 pounds. No wear or deformation of the entire towline and bumper
