The only game in town for me

I'm using a Ready Brute Elite clutch on my 2006 Jeep LJ with a 7/8" pin/3/4" Inch D ring. No one makes an adapter that will fit a massive 2 inch thick Ready Brute hitch. I bought them because they are customizable.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Can't remember but something was

I hope I just got a bad one.

have driven my wrangler about 900 miles and everything seemed to be going fine until one of the blocks broke, i was in a roadworks driving at 45/50 mph and i needed to check traffic. I felt the jeep move a little and was very surprised by what I found when I stopped.

Threaded head broke "Do not buy "

I bought this product back in July 2018 for my TJ Jeep. I used the clutch 3-4 times. I hooked up the jeep this weekend and tightened the nut on one of the 7/8 pins and it came off clean. I'm very glad it broke in my driveway and not on the street. I asked Warrior Products for a replacement product. I will update this review once they reply.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Expensive

Great upgrade for towing a flat jeep

I installed a GenRight winch bumper on my YJ with 1" thick front strut mounts with a 7/8" hole. They were easy to install and all hardware was included. Towed 200 miles to 75 mph with no problems. No setbacks and gaps in the details. It's probably just a high quality bumper with neatly welded towing lugs. It should be noted that they now come with nuts and washers only. My model didn't come with cotter pins, so I plan to keep the 3/4" adjustable wrench and socket. The nuts are not standard and…

very solid construction.

very robust design. solidly made for heavy towing. I use it as an adapter for my Smittybilt front bumper that has built in D-lugs for use with a Roadmaster hitch. Fits perfectly! Tip: Measure the size of the hole in the bumper D-ring tab and make sure it is the diameter you need for this adapter. Warrior makes 2 sizes. It's a 7/8 and fits perfectly on my boss which is a 1" diameter hole for a 3 foot 4" D ring. The mounting end uses a 1/2" bolt with a locknut to connect to the hitch. Fits…

Used with a Road Master Falcon 2 hitch.

It works and is a cheaper option than using the Blue-Ox bar and $$$$ mounting options. I added these to my Road Master Falcon 2 hitch, but it requires two 7/16 spacers or washers (nearly half an inch) at the end of the hitch to take up space. I decided to replace the bolts with some 1/2 class 8 bolts and washers with nuts with nylon self-locking heads. I needed large 1" washers with holes on each side of the JCR bumper fork. 2002 Wrangler TJ BTW if you flat tow your jeep the best no slash kit…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some small things

To be honest I didn't like this product that much and ended up replacing it with the Blue Ox BX88296 Towbar Adapter Kit. I was supposed to buy the blue bull but wanted to save some money and it looked too expensive for what it was. I ended up making it even more expensive by buying this product first. Pros: It works. He towed my Jeep with D-ring holes. It was the cheapest option. Cons: Screws were ok. (I replaced them with grade 8 screws - may not be necessary) The holes on either side are ALL…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Something different

Options should be available

Poor fit, poor hardware, poor quality control. I ended up having to replace all the hardware with 7/8" grade 8 screws and 1/2" grade 5 screws. I use five 7/8" washers on one mount and four on the other, but I have to stuff the fifth in as well. I've measured (with a digital micrometer) everything on the bumper and brackets to find out where the flaws are and the brackets seem to stick out more than 2mm from one to the other. Solid construction and heavy. The finish looks good but it has a few…

Warrior Products 867 Hitch D-Ring Adapter - Large 7/8 Pin / D-Ring 3/4

My (Bestop 42917-01 High Rock 4x4 Black High Access Front Bumper for 97-06 Wrangler TJ ). The bumper that is supposed to be on my 2001 Jeep TJ has 7/8 strut holes. The adapter fits perfectly on my hitch and is easy to use and install. The pin fits into the D-ring hole, which is the industry standard on my bumper. I care about safety so I keep a bag with these clips in the car. You should always check them when you stop somewhere and make sure nobody has pulled them out or you might not have…
