It works and is a cheaper option than using the Blue-Ox bar and $$$$ mounting options. I added these to my Road Master Falcon 2 hitch, but it requires two 7/16 spacers or washers (nearly half an inch) at the end of the hitch to take up space. I decided to replace the bolts with some 1/2 class 8 bolts and washers with nuts with nylon self-locking heads. I needed large 1" washers with holes on each side of the JCR bumper fork. 2002 Wrangler TJ BTW if you flat tow your jeep the best no slash kit is the 56202 Hopkins kit. In short it's not perfect but the best I could find without building it myself. UPDATE: I've since purchased Road Master fork adapters that weren't on their website. I got them off an e-trailer for $109, they adapt to an old Falcon or a newer threaded end because the dimensions stay the same when you unscrew the hinge bushing. The slot is 3/4" wide and very strong!
