The performance of this pump is not as advertised. It's closer to 450 GPH.
Website, packaging and unit list it as a 100 watt, 1050 gallon per hour pump. Checked with a voltmeter and measured the flow. It's just over 40 watts and appears to be going at around 450 gallons per hour. I also did a direct flow comparison with a Smartpond 500GPH 42W pump that I was looking to upgrade. A SmartPond pump that has less than half the capacity of this pump will fill the bucket faster under the same conditions. False advertising. If you're looking for a 450 GPH pump for around $30 then this is it, but don't expect the advertised performance.
