You change the polarity of the plug
You are useless to me. This adapter swaps the left and right channels for some reason. At first they sent the wrong thing but now I get what I ordered and that's crap. I can't put my headphones on backwards, the microphone behind my head doesn't work well. There is no need for the adapter to reverse the polarity of the signal.
