At "cheap" 7.99 for 4 (2.00 pieces) you don't even get what you paid for, I can't imagine it costing more than 20 cents a piece from a Chinese manufacturer . I used one and threw the other three in the trash. I rated it a 3 for "Easy to Use?". because it is a plug. just plug it into an outlet. 1.) The screws are too small to attach even 18 ga. stranded cable for the lamp. What happens when you tighten the screw is that it doesn't grab the wire, it pushes it out. I solved it by adding no. 4 washers under each bolt which was a real problem due to the very tight space around each bolt. When tightening the bolts, the washer remained motionless, tightening all the threads. 2.) The tiny screw holding the shroud to the core is not a captive screw. There's a good chance you'll drop it and get on all fours to try to find it. 3.) There is no strain relief clamp or "clamp factor" in the sheath to prevent the ends of the cable from being pulled when pulled4. ) The design makes the plugs very susceptible to water ingress, but they should only be used indoors. 5.) The good thing is that their release has very little impact on the environment, they are very small items.
