Won't stand up to heat

I bought this sensor for my experiments on triggering a high temperature hot end. However, after several exposures to 485 ยฐC, all internal parts of the sensor fell out of the housing, causing the Marlin to shut down. While the RTDs are rated for up to 600ยฐC (Marlin can't climb that high on his desk, I tried and it gave a MAXTEMP of 500), the adhesive holding the sensor broke causing it to fall out. I'm not giving a star because I could put the sensor back into the case and crimp it to restore functionality. However, if the manufacturer specifies a maximum temperature for this type of construction, this must be specified on the product page.
