Review on JOSCHOO Progressive Multifocus Reading Blocking by Amy Smith

These glasses are good looking, have a flexible frame and are lightweight. Didn't really understand that they would have a raise even at the top of the glass. I now see in the description that this will help if you go to higher magnification further down the glass, but I didn't realize how much magnification would be at the top. As soon as I opened them up, I saw a sticker on the front that indicated the top had a magnification of .870... That seems like a lot and definitely makes it impossible for me to find a good spot to see the distance. I'm curious from others who have ordered a LESS increase if the TOP is too small? I ordered 1.75. If I ordered a 1.5 maybe the top would be more like a 0.5? Just received them yesterday. I'll try to get used to it, but a few minutes after putting them on last night I got a headache. To the company's credit...when I'm trying to get my optician to get the kind of transitions he wants, he also wants to add magnification at the top, so I guess that's how it should be, but my eyes don't like it . .
