Very durable for what you pay for

I have this scooter so I can get from the car and back to my apartment as parking sucks and I have to park several hundred yards away. I think he does it very well. The metal is thick and doesn't rattle or rattle. At the bottom of the "board" is a metal frame for excellent support. I weigh almost 300 pounds and it didn't squeak or move at all. Folding the scooter is very easy with the two buttons next to the front wheel. I haven't stuck this button yet like other people. In that case, according to the company, all you have to do is spray some WD-40 on it. Extending and collapsing the handlebars is easy with the existing latch, although it can be difficult to reinsert as it must be able to prevent your weight from pushing the handlebars back down. I would say the instructions are pretty accurate. I thought the brakes were weak until I read a brochure that said the brakes weren't designed to stop immediately if you stop too hard and fly away. Instead, they're designed to gradually slow the wheels down, although you'll have to pull the brake lever with all your might if you're going downhill or otherwise faster than normal. Another thing about breaking a hold is that it feels like it's in an awkward position where you actually have to stretch out your fingers to grab it. Now the only issues I have with the scooter are the quality of the handlebar foam and the rear brake. There is very little foam so I doubt it will wear down with careful use but I think I would have preferred rubber grips. I think the rear brake is important. Instead of springs or loops, the rear brake is a piece of flexible plastic with a gasket underneath, so you only have to bend the plastic down a few millimeters before it touches the brake. I have a feeling that over time using this break can cause it to break. I hardly use it compared to breaking the handle so it may take a while.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Any doubts
