If you're heavy, this is the beast you need!

Big boys are happy! I weigh 340 pounds of pure white chocolate and it keeps me going. Jk on white chocolate sounded funnier in my head. Anyway, I ride this thing off curbs etc and it's a solid workhorse. Don't worry, big boys! It will take your $$ tank no problem! You don't even have to examine it carefully! Enjoy!

The best scooter

Honestly the best scooter on the market. Super smooth ride, intimidatingly fast (you need to use both brakes at the same time on a descent), handles small jumps like a pro, folds very compact for a big wheeled scooter and is lightweight. Absolutely perfect for my needs: a mile from the bus stop to work, folds easily, doesn't take up much room on the bus when folded, and easily fits in my work locker. I've tried 3 others over the course of 2 years because I didn't want to give it up but believe…

Well Built, With Flaws

Several flaws that are difficult to overcome. The terrace is too small for 2 people. Not even for my 4 year old. The deck is too low. I clean curbs and some driveways. If you scrape down the curb while driving down the sidewalk, you can quickly stop and step over the wheel. The scooter has no footrest. When folding, there is a lock with a button. He is weak and doesn't always keep it closed. If the scooter only opens, the brake cable will catch on the rear fender. Now for the pluses. This is a…

Best Scooter

I have owned Xootr brand scooters for over 15 years. We traveled through San Francisco/Oakland Bay, Seattle, Manhattan, Paris on paved roads, in dry and wet weather, mud and asphalt. We had models from Cruz, Magnesium and Street. People have been so impressed with our scooters wherever we went that at some point during our travels we all gave them away for free. We've had every one of them over the years and have never had to fix anything other than brake pads. You have failed and never failed.

fun and well done. for ice skates, skateboards and scooters

This scooter is a lot of fun. I mainly use it for rides under 2km. I chose this scooter because I'm too heavy for other scooters and I usually carry a book bag with me which only adds to the weight. Even if you don't weigh more than 220, it's still a great scooter. It is superior to other scooters. The wheels are larger than other scooters, allowing it to ride over cracks and uneven road surfaces more smoothly. Glides smoothly and long. The brakes work well. When going down a steeper hill, I…

Funny and helpful - but be careful!

I knew what to expect as the company I work for has several of these devices that we can use in the office. However, the model we have does not have a QuickClick closure and has a large platform. My use case: I take the bus or train downtown to work. I often have to park far away from the bus/train station and be ready to board in seconds. It took away my despair and heavy breathing in the morning. When I come downtown, being in the office in a minute is very helpful. The narrow deck makes it…

The best scooter on the market right now

I researched over 30 scooters from different manufacturers before deciding on XOOTR. I was looking for a quality, durable scooter for kids because I wanted this to last and not be another frustrating scooter that breaks within hours or days of use like many cheaper ones ($75 or less) scooter. However, it was difficult to find a quality scooter for children. I contacted the manufacturer to check and they said they had reports of children as young as three using it even though it was an adult…

Very durable for what you pay for

I have this scooter so I can get from the car and back to my apartment as parking sucks and I have to park several hundred yards away. I think he does it very well. The metal is thick and doesn't rattle or rattle. At the bottom of the "board" is a metal frame for excellent support. I weigh almost 300 pounds and it didn't squeak or move at all. Folding the scooter is very easy with the two buttons next to the front wheel. I haven't stuck this button yet like other people. In that case, according
