I knew what to expect as the company I work for has several of these devices that we can use in the office. However, the model we have does not have a QuickClick closure and has a large platform. My use case: I take the bus or train downtown to work. I often have to park far away from the bus/train station and be ready to board in seconds. It took away my despair and heavy breathing in the morning. When I come downtown, being in the office in a minute is very helpful. The narrow deck makes it easy to store on the top shelf both on the train and on the bus. The telescopic handlebars help too, but I wish it was extended longer when riding - I'm a tall person. The QuickClick closure allows folding and unfolding. It's not as consistent as I'd like, but it's a lot better than the old system that required you to drag a pin. Depending on the type of shoe you're wearing, you might have to try a few times to get it working. Xootr Dash is really fast and then it gets difficult. You have two options for braking: Step on the rear wheel fender and apply the handbrake. Neither handles hard stops very well, so you'll need to learn how to use both. When going down a hill you will almost always step on the wing to control your speed. Another tricky aspect is the wheels. While they're much larger and sturdier than a typical kid's scooter (like the Razor), they can still get stuck in uneven sidewalks or intersections. Be prepared to unsubscribe quickly in this case or else you will fail. And I don't recommend you drive it when it's wet - actually I think it says it in the manual. I will not do this. The wheels are too slippery for wet weather. Overall a great purchase, I use it almost every day. But remember: always wear a helmet!
